I KNOW CLASS SIZE MATTERS

What’s happening

Premier Ford’s government intends to increase class size averages in Grades 4 through 12, resulting in the loss of thousands of teaching positions, and a reduction in the programs and supports available for students. Some class sizes, including in core subjects such as math, are likely to grow to more than 40 students.

Operation Christmas Cheer

Dufferin Peel Secondary Unit was happy to once again support Operation Christmas Cheer through the donations from the Breakfast with Santa event.

We matched the donations and were able to present a cheque in the amount of $1540 to Cassandra Robinson, founder of Operation Christmas Cheer. We hope this donation helps the families of striking workers over the holidays.
